Visited the store in Midrand. Exceptional service provided to me by the lovely Lady, not sure of her name. Was provided with samples to test at home. Went back the following day with the wood. The same lovely lady got one of the staff to sand paper the wood and various colours were tested on the wood. They even labelled the wood with the various colour coding. Wow Guys. I began a search for an easy to apply non toxic stain and was thrilled to have found Rubio Monocoat. I ordered the Oil Plus 2C in Mist to play it safe as I wanted a light tone and did not have time to order samples.

I began staining as soon as the product arrived and it really only required 1 coat although I applied 2 coats just on the top of side rails for added protection. I was super happy with the results and love the matt finish.
