Craft House was commissioned by a client to build a custom braai stand, which was something they have always wanted to manufacture. The braai stand was designed and built in-house and consists of Okoume wood, a steel frame which was powder coated and a granite top. The design concept derived from a plug-and-play outdoor unit that is ready to be used from the get go. It includes the gas braai unit, a rotisserie, pots, knives etc. The finish: Craft House used Rubio Monocoat Pre-Aging, colour Authentic #2 to stain the wood and to give it an aged look and feel. The following day, Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector was used to finish and protect the surface.
